The team is heading to southern California this weekend for the 7th annual NASCAR Toyota Showdown at Toyota Speedway in Irwindale, CA. GPM will field two cars for this marquee event. Greg Pursley will drive the #26 GPM Ford with Candace Muzny getting behind the wheel of the #62 GPM Ford in a one-race deal. Greg has a guaranteed starting position in the all-star event after winning last year in Texas. Candace will have to qualify but is very optimistic about her chances. Veteran championship winning crew chief Jerry Pitts has joined the GPM team and brings key experience that will propel the team all season. The NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown will be broadcast live on SPEED Channel both Friday and Saturday night with coverage beginning at 7pm PT both nights. |
