RMCS Prepares for Ten Race Schedule
The Rocky Mountain Challenge Series enters its seventh season of competition with a ten race schedule beginning in late April and concluding in mid September

The RMCS will make traditional stops at Magic Valley Speedway in Twin Falls, ID in April, June and the season finale in September. The series will also visit Rocky Mountain Raceways in SLC, UT four times with two stops in May, one in July, and the annual NAPA 125 in August.

The RMCS returns to Meridian Speedway in Meridian, ID in late June with a second visit to the newly revamped quarter-mile paved oval on Labor Day weekend.

For the third year in a row, the RMCS will travel to northern Idaho for the prestigious Idaho 200 at Stateline Stadium Speedway in Post Falls, Idaho the final weekend in July.

Returning from a devastating crash last season is two-time series champion Dave Minegar. Also making a charge for a third championship is two-time series champion Zan Sharp. After coming off his first championship in nearly 20 years, Eagle, Idaho's John Dillon is set to run a partial schedule along with former champion John Newhouse.

More than 50 of the hottest racing talents in the region are expected to compete in the series during the season and several new faces are set for competition in this popular racing series.

The series features the only 20-car invert in a major Late Model touring series that has proven to be a competitor, promoter, and fan favorite. The series pays out its purse based on event point accumulation, not finishing position which has provided area race fans some of the best Late Model racing action anywhere in the country.
